Now notice the following verse:

"Whoever keeps the whole law yet stumbles in one point, is guilty of all." ¹⁷

Even if you have only broken just one commandment, you are still guilty of breaking them all. You still must receive the due punishment. The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death." ¹⁸
